  • Anyone over the age of 18 that resides or has a business in Bridgeport, or is a student at the University of Bridgeport
  • New, independent ventures in the seed, start-up or early growth stages
What’s in it for the winners?
  • $6,000 in cash prizes
What are the Important Dates?
  • May 24th- Round 1 Submissions due
  • May 31st- Finalists Announced
  • June 7th- Final Pitch (in person), 5-7pm, Innovation Center at Bauer Hall
What do I do to enter?
  • Step 1 – Register through our form (see link above)
  • Step 2 – Answer the 11 questions listed below in writing
  • Step 3 – Create a 2 minute pitch video
  • Submit written portion and video via email to: entrepreneurship@bridgeport.edu
  • Submissions must be received by 5pm on May 24th

What should I do after submitting?
  • Await results of Round 1 on May 31st
  • Judging rubric will be released to final participants on May 31st
What should I do once I’ve made it through?
  1. Read announcement email with further information
  2. Continue to practice 3 minute pitch
  3. Come to the Innovation Center for a 5pm start, ready to pitch at our final event
